KIDNEY:
the kidneys are the MOST important part of the excretory system. Blood enters through the kidney, and after a sequence of events, the blood is filtered clean, and the bad stuff is filtered out.
SEQUENCE: (BLOOD PURIFICATION)

NEPHRONS:
neprhons are the "kiidney cells". they are in the renal cortex part of a kidney. nephron has supply of blood to poweri itself. Nephrons work together to make the magic happen!
FILTRATION:
blood enters through the renal artery. filtration happens in the glomerulus. there, there is a bundle of capilliaries. similar to a coffee filter, the big things are filtered out.
REABSORPTION:
after filtration, blood goes to the bowmen's capsule, the shell surrounding the glomerulus. here reabsorption occurs, where most valued parts of the blood are kept.

SECRETION:
this is where the last bits of water are reabsorBEd. in the loop of henle, the loopish thing at the bottom of the nephron, last bits of absorption also occur. URINE is condensed here.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER?
After the filtering in the kidney and the nephrons, the waste travels from the kidney to the URINARY BLADDER by a tube called the URETER. At the bladder, where urine is stored, it is later excreted into the world by the URETHRA.

IN WHICH A MACHINE CAN FILTER YOUR BLOOD FOR YOU, IT CAN KEEP YOU ALIVE FOR A LONG TIME, BUT IT IS VERY INCONVENIENT AND EXPENSIVE.
